Links zwo, drei, vier...
Sorry, been listening to too much Rammstein here lately! Anyway, here are some links to different places on the Internet, in a slightly arranged manner.
Sites that I am related to, somehow:
Union Square Computers - A little company of mine.
Laurion Silver - Another little company of mine.
The Java Connection - Yet another little commercial interest of mine. The Java Connection is a shopping cart based on coffee oriented items from Amazon.com's extensive database of products.
Little River Lumber - Purveyors of fine cellulose products.
Elena's Imports - My good friend, Ivan, who promises to bring me Chocolate Coated Czech Chicks from the Old Country next time he's there. Yummy!
Outdoor Supply - Great place for outdoor sporting goods, not that I go outside much mind you, but Charlie and his crew are good people.
Island Style - Fine Jamaican cuisine. Four words: curried goat pwns all!
AIM Branding - Establish your corporate identity with AIM!
Gotham Images - Need to pimp your image? Talk to my boy Woody at Gotham - he's better than that "other guy" in Hickory.
United Displays of America - American made boxes for American flags? Yeah, it's a novel concept but my man John has the vision and desire to make it happen.
RarePostcard.com - Just have to have some old nudie cards? Tim will hook you up!
Stone Gables - Come on... EVERYBODY wants a pony, right?
Totally Fit 4 Life - My friend Debra, who is a great person and wants to help people out. Isn't that what it's all about?
Women's Resource Center - This is an organization that is very dear to me - Lisa and her crew help women to help themselves!
Energy Systems Analysts - Industrial heat reclamation systems... YEAH!
Computer security related sites:
Secunia - Want to know if there is a vulnerability in your software? Check it out on this site; these guys cover everything.
the Month of Apple Bugs (MoAB) - Tired of all those smug Mac users claiming their systems are so secure? These guys are posting one Mac vulnerability a day in January 2007!
Trend Micro - One of the best virus and spyware scanners out there. Their site has a lot of useful information about malware as well.
ClamWin Antivirus - Who says you have to pay Symantec or Mcafee for a bloated piece of crap antivirus program? ClamWin is an open-source port of the ClamAV virus scanning engine, it's free, and it finds the nasties the other guys miss.
Open-source sites:
SourceForge - Simply put, THE repository for open-source software. Yeah, it's slow, packed full of ads, and their search engine sucks ass, but this is the place to go for bleeding edge software.
Linux Online - A great place to go check out a whole array of Linux distributions and software.
PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor - Yet another programming language I know, and I love it!
MySQL AB - My favorite database system, and it goes with PHP like peanut butter goes with jelly.
General 'hacking' sites: (note, this is hacking in the original context, not in the sense of destroying or stealing)
Hack A Day - Great articles from people who really don't care if they void their warrantees or not.
MAKE - Tons of goodies here, it ties in with their magazine.
camerahacking Forum - These guys have found ways to make the disposable CVS digital camcorders, well, reuseable.
Sci.Electronics.Repair FAQ - No matter if you want to fix that old CD player, or are the curious sort about most things electronic, this site will help you quite a bit. Tons of info here.
